Planned Chaos

gpailleThis has been such an interesting experiment. We chatted with someone (Gerry Paille) via video from Fort St. John, Canada via I Sight. (He was a centralist, of course). Currently, we are working in small groups to propagate our centralist views. The energy in the room is amazing. It was difficult to chat with someone because of the loudness and the laughter from around the room.

Currently the centralists are using the wiki, creating new pages, chatting via I sight, using IM, and someone has Sub Etha Edit and a working document going.

We tried editing a wiki page from the fence sitter position in order to sway them our way. We did get a posting error message that we couldn't recover from and had to edit a new page. I personally had no idea how easy a wiki can be. This is a potentially great collaborative tool for asynchronous work.

It was difficult to document what was actually going on because of how loud things were. But, this was real learning and real fun. Thank you so much for the opportunity to experience all of these tools in this submersive way.
