The jClicker is a set of web page files, a few button images, and JavaScript code that will allow you to easily assemble and create a slide show presentation in a web browser. Visit the jClicker main site for all of the details. This site is a showcase of some of the special jClicker slide shows created at the Maricopa Community Colleges.

Chandler-Gilbert Community College

Photography instructor Robert Burget teaches his students to assemble collections of their photographs as a jClicker portfolio. Some examples shared include:

  Mary Ellen's show captures the peacefulness and fun experienced during a visit to her "ASU" children who enjoy living, working, and playing in Oak Park, Illinois

• My Dog Putting on a Show by Tom Berbner
  Tom Berbner's show, "My Dog Putting on a Show", stars Trisket, a four year old Yorkshire Terrier. Tom's show is a collection of pictures showing Trisket doing various tricks Tom taught her over the years.

• Tandem Bicycle (2004) by Michelle Bradley
  Michelle's friend is into rebuilding bicycles. This day he chose to rebuild a tandem two-seater. The show documents our work in progress for the day.

• Tulum "The Walled City" by Christina Dob
  These pictures of Tulum were captured by my nephew Michael on a wonderful family reunion to Mexico in November 2003.

  Brian uses an intriguing combination of text and image in a series of nine slides entitled Layers of the Mind

• Autumn in Bear Flats by Linda Mele
  Linda's show features pictures of Bear Flats taken during an October weekend at the family cabin located between Payson and Kohl's Ranch in Mogollon Rim country, Arizona.

• 4111 Massachusetts Ave by Carolyn Woeten
  Carolyn's show is a visual story of the old family home in La Mesa, California. Carolyn lived there from about 8th grade until she was married. The last image, "abruptly" placed, shows the property being demolished for development.

• Hawaii Fish by Alex Manzanares
  Alex Manzanares' show consists of photos he took with one of those waterproof throwaway cameras. He went scuba diving with it. The captions are homage to Dr. Suess (the movie was released during our slide show project).
